About Online Match Mode
In Online Match mode, you can play from different devices via network connection. To play with a specific opponent, such as a friend or family member, press the 'Invite Opponent' button to share the invitation URL or have them scan the QR code. Any additional participants beyond the second player will be spectators.
Additionally, by pressing the 'Find Match' button, you can match with other online players at any time.
Premium members of Reversi Web can set various names in this Online Match mode.

Play in App Mode
Although this site is a browser game, you can also add it to your home screen as a web app. It takes only a few seconds and consumes almost no device storage. On the other hand, the game launches even faster and you can use the main features offline. Please give it a try!
About Reversi (Othello)
Basic Rules
Reversi is a board game where you capture your opponent's pieces by surrounding them. It is also known as 'Othello'. The game proceeds according to the following rules.
- Black goes first, followed by White, taking turns placing stones.
- When you surround your opponent's stones, they are flipped to your color. You can surround stones in any direction: vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
- You can only place your stones on squares where you can surround your opponent's stones ( valid moves ).
- If you have no valid moves, the system will automatically pass your turn to your opponent. The game ends when both players pass.
Highlighting Valid Moves
Reversi Web has a feature that automatically detects and displays valid moves. This feature can be turned off in Settings.
Winning Conditions
- At the end of the game, the player with the most pieces wins.
- In matches with a time limit, you also win if your opponent runs out of time.
- In online match mode, the forfeit button is available. If your opponent forfeits, you win.
