Reversi, also known as Othello, is a game where players take turns placing stones on the board, flipping their opponent's stones to their own color by surrounding them.
This site uses the following general rules of Reversi.
On this site, valid moves are displayed as hints for easier gameplay. You can also turn off this feature in Settings.
A free Reversi (Othello) game that you can play instantly on the web. It features AI matches, online matches, and a Reversi board mode that simply displays the digital board.
In this mode, you can play matches with opponents who are far away via real-time communication. Even if the connection is interrupted during the match, you can reconnect, so there is no need to worry about the match suddenly ending!
To play with someone you know, such as a friend or family member, tap Generate URL or the QR code icon to share the invitation URL. In this case, the settings (time limit, highlight valid moves options,etc.) of the inviter will apply, allowing them to play under the same rules. Any additional participants beyond the second player will be considered 'spectators.'
On the other hand, by pressing the '🌐 Find Match' button, you will be matched with an online player with a similar skill level. To make it easier to find a match, some match settings are fixed.
By optionally registering an account and logging in, you can carry over your rating to other devices and browsers, making it easier to prevent data loss.
Premium members of Reversi Web can set various names in this Online Match mode.
